On the Road Again, Just Can't Wait to be on the Road Again......

This is our last full day here in Albuquerque at the housesit. It has been a great experience and we have really enjoyed the dogs and will miss them. On the other hand, we are getting impatient to be on our way to Mexico.

We will be leaving here either tonight or tomorrow morning, so after today our computer use will again be sporadic.

Our tentative plans are to go from here to Truth or Consequences and stay at a Park called Elephant Butte, then on to Silver City, then Tombstone Arizona, then on to Tucson. We will try to spend a night by Tucson and then head for the border early, as we don't know how long it will take us to get through all that, we will have to stop at the US border first, then on to the Mexico one. Of course, these plans may change depending on how suitable the weather is for tenting, if it is not nice we will just continue on. It's great not to have any deadlines, we can change our plans as we like.

We plan to cross into Mexico sometime around the 15 th; it may be sooner though. We don't want to enter too early as the maximum we can stay is 180 days, and we don't want to be heading back to Alberta too early in the spring. If we cross on the 15 th we will have until the 12 th April ( if I counted right!)
