WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING !
This morning on my way home, after dropping Roy off at work, I drove slowly and just enjoyed the sights and sounds.
The sky was a pretty baby blue, with a few thin, wispy, white clouds dotted here and there. The sun was just beginning to burn off the fog in the valley. The heavy dew on the grass and trees sparkled in the sunshine, while bird songs filled the air. A deer quietly grazed in the grass at the side of the road. It looked up as I approached, and calmly walked a little further into the ditch. Country living at its best, easy to forget all the mundane chores for the day, that clog up your mind and make you forget to just slow down and look around you.
It just reinforced my belief that man can never re-create what nature does so effortlessly if left alone.
