There are lots of frigate birds here, pigeons, sparrows, hummingbirds, and the bird pictured below which I think might be a Tanager. I could be wrong so if you know for sure let me know.

Our Neighborhood Birds
We have lots of birds around here, the problem is being fast enough to get a picture of them. Our local woodpecker seems to like to tease me. The only time he comes really close is when I do not have the camera handy. If I take the camera outside with me and sit and read my book, he never shows up. Yesterday when I went outside to read, without the camera, he showed up and sat on the electrical wire right close to me and stayed there for several minutes. He has a strange sense of humor that fellow.
There are lots of frigate birds here, pigeons, sparrows, hummingbirds, and the bird pictured below which I think might be a Tanager. I could be wrong so if you know for sure let me know.

Are you aware that we also have cardinals? And more hummingbirds in the summer. Enjoy!
wende in Bacochibampo
Hi Wende. Yes, I knew there were Cardinels here; but I haven't seen any at our place yet.
In the winter we also had several white breasted hummingbirds but they seem to have disappeared now. We seem to have the same number of the other hummingbirds summer and winter.
If you are the Wende that just had the eye operation, I hope that things are going well.
Thank you, Brenda. Next Wed is my second one.
Have you seen any road runners? I had some over here.
In the summer I had more than 20 hummingbirds while in the winter, only three.

Wende, good luck with the operation. Hope all goes well.
Our hummingbird population stays pretty much the same summer and winter with the exception of the white breasted ones being gone now.
I have never seen a roadrunner here in the city; have seen them out when we have been on our way to San Carlos.
