Hurricane Henriette Update 2

Hurricane Henriette Update 2
So far things are pretty calm here, it is raining; but not very windy yet. You can see on the photo below that the trees are not blowing much at all. It is cooler than usual which is nice, as we can turn off the air conditioner and open the windows or at least the ones where the rain isn't coming in.

The CFE site shows the hurricane as coming ashore south of us now. One of the landlords sons has been sent to Huatabampo to work. So I guess they are assuming that it is going to come ashore close to there. We are the little star on the picture below.

So that is what is happening as of now, (11:00 AM our time).

Thanks for updates. Our boat Rosalita is over in dry storage. It's great to see photos and get info. on how things are looking there...hope the storm passes quickly and painlessly. I'll check your page again later tonight/tomorrow to see how you fared. Thanks for the great info!

My boat is in storage also - I can imagine a bunch of boats on jack stands all falling like dominoes - ah, the burdens of a hyperactive imagination!
