Spring In Alberta????
Spring in Alberta....hmmm....ask me again why I want to move to Mexico. These photos were taken this morning from our deck. Monday and Tuesday it rained and snowed most of both days. The temperatures were high enough to melt what came down until evening came and this is the sight that greeted us this morning. There is a saying here: If you don't like the weather, wait for 5 minutes and it will change! On Saturday it was around 25 Celcius and it was a nice day, I was thinking that maybe things weren't so bad (I've been cold ever since we returned from Mexico). Well for the last 2 days the wood stove has been seeing a lot of use.
Looks kind of pretty, especially if you don't have to go out in it! Just not exactly what you think of when you think of spring ( unless you live in Alberta).
On Saturday we had an auctioneer come over to discuss the disposal of our possessions. My oldest son and his friend came for a visit. He did decide to take his old Dino the dinosaur stuffed toy home with him (with lots of pushing from his girlfriend). Poor Dino, a well travelled dinosaur, no longer has any eyes or other facial features and his fur in mostly worn off from handling. He is a sad sight; but the stories he could tell! We also managed to get to my step-daughters,we had a nice visit with the grandchildren, and got our income tax e-filed.
Not too much of interest going on, just the grind to get things sorted and decided upon.
