Some Things Here Are Moving

Yesterday the sun actually came out for a few hours! We managed to get a couple of things done and we were glad to get out of the house for awhile. This damp,cool weather is not agreeing with me and it seems that I haven't felt well since we left Mexico, can't wait to get back. We miss the weather, the fresh veggies, the color, the sounds, basically everything.

We got our refund cheques back from the Income tax; but there was a glitch in the system and they weren't direct deposited- so one more thing to do that we thought was done.

My step daughters husband and one of his friends came over on Friday evening and loaded up the old truck to take to their house, he had come for the old car a few weeks ago. They are going to restore them both for their son, who is the real owner. They have some time as the grandson is only 7 years old. Both the vehicles are '52 Chevies, and I am sure some of you have memories of these. This project (along with the fact that they have four children) should guarantee that they are penniless for some years to come!
