Snow In Tucson, Arizona
El Nino must be laughing his head off, last evening it snowed in Tucson, Arizona. Here are a couple of photos that I borrowed from the online edition on the "Tucson Citizen" newspaper. Their forecast for today is: "Mostly cloudy today with scattered snow and freezing rain. Highs, 45 to 50. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast 10 to 15 mph this afternoon. " Sounds lovely doesn't it? Some bridges are closed and some schools have delayed opening times this morning. Tucson is about 325 miles from us; but it was also snowing in Nogales last night which is only 5 hours from us. Here it is sunny this morning (at 9:14 AM) and in the shade it is 18 C. (about 65 F.). Not too bad.
As for our exciting life, yesterday Roy and Ciro went fishing in the afternoon and I hung out at home reading. Today it is back to spanish class for me, not sure if Roy has any plans or not; but I do have a grocery list so, maybe he does have plans.....
