Chore Day
Chore Day
Yesterday was a "chore" day. I went to the drugstore and got my prescriptions refilled and then got a haircut. I laughed afterwards with Roy, about the conversation with the hairdresser. She asked me if I color my hair, when I told her, no, she remarked that I don't have very much grey in it. I said to Roy, in one way it was a compliment; but on the other hand, how old does she think I look? Hmmmm. She also thought that rather than doing laundry with my "new do", we should be going out to a restaurant. Regardless, I still had to do the laundry and so on to the laundromat after the hairdresser. Roy hung the clothes to dry after I returned and then he washed the car. I had taken the car to do the laundry; but we hadn't used it for over a week (or maybe 2) before that, so it was very dusty. We are going to San Carlos today, so it needed to be washed. Later on in the afternoon Ciro came up and asked Roy if he wanted to go fishing; but Roy hadn't eaten yet and decided he didn't want to go as they don't usually return until after 7 or even later. I made shrimp tacos for supper and then we relaxed for the evening.
This morning we are going to pick up Marilyn and Edgar at the RV campground in San Carlos, and then go to a Ceramics show, have lunch and then on to an Art show. It should be an interesting day.
