We started this blog to journal our six month stay in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico over the winter of 2005/2006. All the original posts of our winter are still here. We enjoyed it so much in Guaymas that we decided we wanted to live there. We returned to Alberta, Canada just long enough to sell everything we owned and have now moved here. Stay tuned for all the adventures we will have in our new life in our adopted country.

Thanks for the sympathy... I don't know if it is the holiday season or the winter season, but today I woke up checking up flights to visit family, although I will have to wait 'till the Summer to really have time off. Enjoy your balmy weather.
Cute! I want to make one of those for next year (who am I fooling, I'll never get around to it). I do have a Santa doll with shorts, flip flops, sunglasses, and sunhat with a margarita in his hand.
