Pozole Dinner

Thursday evening a group of friends/members of the photographers group got together for a Pozole dinner in honour of one of the ladies birthdays.  It seems like pozole isn't served here often during the summer; perhaps as it is so hot.   It is served more often during the Christmas season; but it is one of her favourite dishes, so that is what was served.
Nice evening, tasty dinner and lots of chatting and photo taking.

It looks like it was a great birthday. What a beautiful birthday lady. I love pozole and make it whenever we get the urge. Hope you are doing good Brenda. Enjoy the week ahead, take care.

Hi Gloria, yes, it was fun.
You have a great week also.

I am a big pozole fan, as well. Even in the summer. That may be because it is usually served no more than luke warm.

Steve: this was very good pozole as my landlady had cooked and she is a very good cook. You would be a happy camper at her house ja ja ja.
It was a fun evening.

Pozole, Yummmm! Usually the best food you get in Mexico comes out of the kitchens of friends. It looks like a good time was had by all.

So true Shannon. These ladies are excellent cooks. The food here is so labour intensive to make, it takes forever to chop everything up so tiny lol. They have a lot of patience lol.
It was a fun evening.

Hi Brenda/Roy,
Doug & Enda here from Napa, Calif. We are still unable to visit MX until my new wife/daughter's US Immigration stuff gets to the next level. Hopefully in 1 month! Good to see you got back in the blogging mode a couple of weeks ago, I missed reading it. We WILL visit you/Roy on our next visit, I promise. Little Claudia [12], after 1.5 school years is an honor roll student in an English school! Unbelievable. They both miss Guaymas, but not the summer heat. Keep the posts coming, they are not boring at all,
Doug Siner
